
Rudino's Pizza & Grinders restaurants are "Family Owned and Operated" serving fresh grinders, pizza, calzones and salads. The restaurants are open seven days a week for sit-down dining, carryout, and catering. Having a party or business meeting? Your location or ours, we can accommodate.
Each location has a bakery operation in-house to provide fresh, made-from-scratch dough daily for our grinders and pizzas.

Rudino's Pizza and Grinders was "born in the Carolina's" in 1995 by the Rudd Family in Cary, North Carolina. We have rapidly grown to eight family-owned locations in the Raleigh/Durham area and have expanded with three licensee locations in Columbia, SC, Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN.
All are dedicated to preserving the reputation that Rudino's has built for its award winning food and service.

The term grinder can be traced back to the eastern region of the US. While Italian immigrants worked in the shipyard, setting and “grinding” rivets on huge ships, their wives would bring lunch of freshly baked bread filled with meats and cheeses. The foreman would yell “Grinders” and all would sit and eat. Hence the word “Grinder” became known as the combination of meat, cheeses and vegetables served on one of a kind freshly made, oven baked bread. Here at Rudino’s, we continue the tradition by piling on the meat, vegetables and cheeses on top of our homemade fresh baked bread.
